A little backstory to this clip before you watch it:
Will Smith’s father abandoned him and his mother when he was a child, and when Will was finally getting into show business and making a name for himself, he tried to sneak his way back into his life like nothing happened. Will co-wrote this episode, and James Avery (Uncle Phil) said “this scene was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to shoot in my life. Every emotion, every word.. that was Will”
Will was actually supposed to play it off and then walk away, and there was originally an alternate scene that was supposed to happen, but he actually completely cut out what was supposed to be said, and did all of his own dialogue. The hug at the end of this scene is completely genuine, and this was a stepping stone in Will’s career where he started to take on the “do what feels, sounds, and looks right” approach to his acting.

Anonymous asked: Fifty shades is not about the submission or the fact that Anastasia is weak. It's about the pull of one person to another despite all of the many things that make them unsuitable for each other. Also, if you think he doesn't love her, you are mistaken.
The central story line may not be about Anastasia being weak but it’s not necessarily a great representation of healthy desire and love.
And you’re right, he does love her he just has issues admitting it.
Which is something I don’t understand. And the argument of how they’re pulled towards each other despite not being suitable, I don’t agree. Who says they’re not suitable? It’s her self esteem and self worth that makes her feel like she doesn’t deserve him. That’s what upsets me.
The fact that he paints her out to be strong and independent and all these other things she clearly is not is almost an insult to the women who wouldn’t take the shit he does despite being pulled to them.
That’s just my opinion.
50 Shades of Pathetic
I refuse to finish 50 Shades of Grey.
What apparently started out as Twilight FanFiction is complete and total shit.
No, it’s not that I’m freaked out by the BDSM or the erotic and very graphic sex scenes she describes. In fact, that’s not even a big deal. I mean it’s part of life, she’s merely describing it in vivid detail.
My concern is how the “heroine” of the book, Anastasia Steele is SO RIDICULOUSLY PATHETIC.
C’mon, get it together woman!
The guy is a complete and total CREEPY ass and she’s describing him as the most intriguing man ever!
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!
You think Bella Swan is bad?
Oh, you’ve seen nothing yet.
While Katniss Everdeen and Hermione Granger are laughing their ass off, even Bella Swan can say “uh…no.”
That’s how sad this girl is. She literally submits (pun intended) to the stupidest things.
AND HE DOESN’T EVEN LOVE HER.
At least Edward Cullen would desperately die for Bella.
Ugh, I can’t even put into words how sad and desperate this character this. And I would never hope for you to find out.
Gonna go read Mockingjay now in hopes that I won’t have to think about how women are taking a backwards step in society right now.
I need these NOW!
Me too
“Marilyn’s need to be desired was so great that she could make love to a camera. Because of this, her lust aroused lust in audiences, sometimes even among women. There was nothing subtle about it. She was no tease. She was prepared, and even eager, to give what she offered.” — William Manchester
